Welcome to the Wimberley Democrats!

We are a volunteer organization located in the Texas hill country and we're working hard to turn Texas BLUE!

As a matter of fact, we've been instrumental in turning Hays County blue and we're not gonna stop there!
​
Our mission is to get Democrats elected to local, county and state positions. We do this through community outreach, events, community forums, candidate meet and greets, precinct chair support, register new voters, collaborate with local Dem clubs for large events, hold monthly socials, conduct election GOTV activities and much, much more!

Wimberley has 7 Precincts, each represented by an elected Precinct Chair who works with the Hays County Democratic Party to get out the vote in their area.
In addition to many Democratic events and efforts in the area, the WimDems works with and supports each of our Precinct Chairs in their efforts to GOTV.
From postcard writing, letter writing, phone banking, and texting campaigns, the WimDems work with and assist candidates with meet & greets, block walks, drive-and-drop literature campaigns, set up support tents at the election sites, conduct Voter Registrar trainings, register new voters, work as Election Judges and Election Clerks and much, much more!
We also participate in many local events like the Wimberley 4th of July Parade, the annual Wimberley Pride Parade, set up a holiday display at the Emily Ann Trail of Lights, award a local student with our annual Scholarship, and much, much more!
